I recently had the honor and privilege of photographing the wedding of Diana and Pedro, who met a couple of years ago while Diana was studying abroad in Spain.
It was love at first sight, and a long distance relationship ensued which included numerous trips for them back and forth between Spain and the United States. A large frame containing many of their airline tickets and more was displayed in the lobby of their wedding venue.
I started the day at the lovely home of Diana’s parents. Her mother helped her into her gown, meticulously lacing it up, while they enjoyed some sweet mother – daughter time together.
A wedding mass ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church, and a reception followed at the US Naval Academy Officer’s Club. Diana’s maternal grandfather is a retired Captain, and he and his wife were celebrating their wedding anniversary of the same date and in the same place where their wedding reception was held years ago! They enjoyed a special anniversary dance – they are so sweet together!
Diana and Pedro are so excited to be together, and they show it constantly! Congratulations, Diana and Pedro! It was truly special capturing your love!
