On Sunday, I traveled to Old Town Alexandria, Virginia for Emily and Daniel’s engagement session. We had such a fun evening walking all over town and exploring the many lovely locations which Old Town Alexandria has to offer!
Back when Emily was searching for engagement session locations, she saw the cobblestone on Prince Street and knew she wanted their session to be photographed there. I met the couple on King Street, and we ventured all around the town. Our first stop was at the Carlyle House, which has a beautiful garden and an old door that matched Emily’s gorgeous dress perfectly! Then it was off to Prince Street for the classic cobblestone street shots that Old Town Alexandria is famous for, and we stopped in an alleyway along the way! We then headed to the waterfront for some photos on the docks. From there we walked to the infamous Wilkes Street tunnel, where we wrapped up our session.
Emily and Daniel met during their freshman year at York College of Pennsylvania. Four years later, this past March, Daniel proposed to Emily by the water at Soloman’s Island.
I can’t get over how adorable these two are together, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding next year at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club!
